Myers Briggs vs Discovery Insights
MBTI and DISC have been around for a long time and are both used in many countries. Both use the same underlying personality theory from Carl Jung, the Swiss Psychologist. However, they apply it in different ways which can divide opinions on their use.
Personally we think both are great but our own view is that MBTI is better suited to one-to-one coaching or mentoring, where the issues spill into homelife. We think DISC works better in groups and corporate situations due to it's ease of understanding and it's focus on the difference between the natural you and the variation of you that you take to work.
