Competency Frameworks
Competence is about having the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to get the job done in the right way. It may seem straight forward but we believe it is. The difficulty comes when you try and describe specifically the knowledge, skills and behaviours people need to do their job.
We know that most competency frameworks usually end up having a core set of competencies that you can't do without and not surprisingly these are similar from organisation to organisation.
